About Me

My name is Danielle, but you can call me “Danni”

I am a recent graduate of the University of Nevada,Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (emphasis in Marketing).  During my studies, I have gained an interest in consumer behavior, brand management, market segmentation, and integrated marketing. I am interested in the field of sports marketing and sporting goods, as well as sports nutrition. My dream position would be a brand manager for The North Face, allowing me to travel the world, meeting athletes and evolving the brand to meet their needs.

During the Fall of 2011, I studied abroad in San Sebastian, Spain, which allowed me to see a whole new way of life and put me outside of my comfort zone. I learned about verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as, working with a diverse group of people.  While at the University of Nevada, I have also held two sports marketing internships, Reno-Tahoe Open and Nevada Athletics. As the special events intern for the Reno-Tahoe Open 2012, I learned about social media marketing  and event logistics. I was able to create various media guides and programs for the events , using Photoshop and Illustrator, which were used throughout the tournament. As a marketing intern with Nevada Athletics, I aided in the creation and implementation of promotions for the Fall 2012 football season. I was able to experience the operations and logistics of a major sporting event and allowed me to effectively put to use my education in real-life situations.

I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada with my mother, father and younger brother. Aside from my professional career, I have an interest in hiking, running and traveling the world. I spend my downtime with my brothers in Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, spending time with family, watching Red Sox baseball, working out, and going on adventures.
